  1. LOVE that cover. And those giveaway items look awesome! However, being the financially irresponsible person that I am, I don't have money to spend right now. Whoops! XD Some other time, I suppose. ;D

On another note, I followed the link to the host's blog. Whenever I see people who wrote a novel/were published at a young age, I just...I JUST--!! ....*sighs deeply and sadly*

lol pardon my pity party. XD

    1. Confession: I've been drooling over that cover since they first revealed it a year ago. It's absolutely breathtaking!
I totally understand not having the money to spend. I spend way too much money on books... Way too much. o.o But the fun thing about the giveaway is you don't have to spend a thing and have a chance to win all that deliciousness!

Oh, girl, I know where you're coming from. It's so hard to see the years go by and know your dream is still so far away. But if you want it, then it's gonna happen! Trust me, I've seen the kind of talent and creativity that oozes from your stories just from what you've posted on your blog. You blow me away! Just keep writing and reaching for that goal. If your heart's into it, you're going to make it! Don't ever, ever, EVER give up!

  2. :O THIS. IS. *HUGE*. DJKAFSJKLA. IT'S SO CHEAP ON KINDLE. JADKFSAL. O_O AHH THAT COVER IS SO ENCHANTING. I CAN SEE WHY YOU ARE SO EXCITED; THAT IS SO EXCITING - EEEK! I hope that you get your copy soon, seeing that you've been waiting so long for it, oh my land! Will you review it on here once you've read it, do you think? Are *you* going to write for the Sleeping Beauty one? I might -I was so excited to see that it is open internationally- but I shall see. I will need to brush up my knowledge of Sleep Beauty first, I think! :D

By the way, just to let you know, I've tagged you for this: https://hislittleelephant.wordpress.com/2015/07/28/the-new-discoveries-tag-his-little-elephant/ . No obligations! :D

    1. I KNOW. SO MUCH EXCITEMENT. And yes, the price for it is VERY good! It makes for a happy broke book lover. XD

I suspect I will end up reviewing it once I've read it. I don't review books too much unless I'm specifically asked to, but this one I'd like to help spread the word. So, most likely, there will be a review eventually.

I was very highly thinking about entering the Sleeping Beauty contest. Burning Thorns, the novel I'm working on right now, was actually originally a novella for this collection here. But since I didn't win I decided to turn it into a full novel, and, honestly, I'm almost (almost) glad I didn't win because it has been so fun expanding Burning Thorns and turning it into something so much bigger and better. So I will NEVER regret entering last year's contest despite the fact my story wasn't chosen.
But as for this year, I did want to but I I want to finish Burning Thorns first and it's taking longer than I expected and I have so much on my plate. I'm just not sure I have the time and energy to write a whole new story right now. But I might anyway. Who knows?! XD (And that was probably waaay longer an answer than you wanted. Whoops...)
That'd be AWESOME if you joined in! :D

A tag! :D Thank you so much!!! I'll check it out in just a moment.

    2. It seriously does. XD

Really? :O THAT WILL BE SO EXCITING! I look forward to it (if you end up doing it, of course!)! And yes, I totally understand that. :) Hey... *I'll* ask you to review it? Or, do you need, like, the author/s to request it? :D

Really? :O Oh my gosh, I bet it's amazing! :") How many words is it?! Good on you for entering it, though, that is really good. :') True, sometimes it's totally like that. XD Do you think you will ever try to get Burning Thorns published one day? (I looove long answers, it's all good! ;) Thank you for taking the time to reply to my comment in such depth!)

    3. I really would love to join in this year but it's looking more and more like I just need a break from writing instead of taking on another project. It's sad, but I think I'm just going to have to accept the fact this year probably isn't going to work out.

You're urging me to review it even more, so thank you! ^_^ For reviews it depends on some things. I'll review a book if a bunch of different people end up specifically asking for a review (like that happened with The Maze Runner), or if an author asks me, definitely. And then sometimes I like to do it for indie books to help support the author or something like that. Otherwise I'm not an avid book reviewer. I kind of get overwhelmed with it and just want to read the books without any obligations, if that makes sense. XD

You are so sweet and making me smile so much! <3 As of right now Burning Thorns is at 80k words and is just a a few thousand words shy of being finished. So the first draft will probably end around 85k? And I do hope to try and get it published. Or at least start querying with it once it's edited and polished and see where it goes. Scary thought, but that's my dream so I'm gonna try!
Thank YOU for taking the time to comment and encourage me so much. You are precious! ^_^

  3. I am going to buy the collection, going by the synopsis all the stories sound great.
I am writing my entry for the contest now, it's not a very solid idea. I am running with it though.

    1. The stories sound soooo good, yesh! Just up my alley. I'm nearly bursting with anticipation to read it!

You are? THAT'S SO EXCITING!!! Sometimes the very best stories come from just letting them have their way and not planning, so you run with that thing, girl. I know it's going to be fantastic!

  4. SO EXCITING. I can't wait to read it!!! All five stories sound so unique, yet they seem to tie together in a hauntingly beautiful way. :D Am I getting a copy? Do you even have to ask? And as to whether I'm entering this year...well, you know that answer quite well. ;)
