Missing them already -- that means they're awesome for sure. :)

Well, in that case, the way Iavin words things is fabulous. XD

*whispers* I'll have to go read last year's NaNo posts, then. ;DTracey Dyckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03445222618456673198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-42380628402215322632014-12-10T13:49:15.018-06:002014-12-10T13:49:15.018-06:00Eeeeee! I got all nostalgic searching through the document for snippets because I just became SO fond of these charries. It hasn't even been a full month since I finished their tale and I already miss them.

Hehehehe. I can't take any credit for those sentences like that, that was all Iavin. I don't always write in that style or anything. But when I was writing through his POV his thoughts like that just kept popping in my head and I couldn't help but laugh. I seriously loved his adorkable, doomed way of thinking. His POV was definitely one of my favorites I've ever written in any story. Silly child o' mine. XD

YESH. Darven and Leiden were the main characters of last year's NaNo. My precious boys. <3 They're sorta kinda my favorite pair of dragon riders in this story. *cough, cough* I think they're all I blogged about during last NaNo. XD

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Your comment totally made my day!Christine Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15859881278385314279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-69430810178063798162014-12-10T13:42:44.925-06:002014-12-10T13:42:44.925-06:00You are precious!!! I try really hard with my characters but I always fear I'm not pulling them off on paper how I imagine them in my head, so that really gave the boost of encouragement I needed.

I really, really enjoyed Sayleth myself. I was a bit nervous about writing a mute character, but it turned out to be a lot of fun, added some interest to the writing process.

Aaaaahhhhh! Thank you sooo much, Sarah! You are seriously the sweetest! <3Christine Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15859881278385314279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-20843572426064460772014-12-09T08:50:02.405-06:002014-12-09T08:50:02.405-06:00These snippets are amazing, dear! XD And Sayleth, wow, I like her already! I love her silent laughs. <3 Nemayn's sarcasm and Cael's snark (oh, the snark) are hilarious.

The way you word things is fabulous! "He was pretty much doomed anyway, but Iavin appreciated the gesture."
"After all he went through, his demise would be choking on a tiny silver key. Really, it sounded exactly like the way he'd go."
And then that last snippet. Those are old characters brought back into the story, right? Eep, I want to meet them all!!!Tracey Dyckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03445222618456673198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-15900540049944822014-12-09T08:35:48.673-06:002014-12-09T08:35:48.673-06:00Fantastic, darling! I love the personalities and am particularly drawn to little Sayleth. I've never dreamed of writing a mute character, but you've done marvelously with her.

Love it! She keeps Iavin on his toes anyway. I don't know what it is about villains, but I'm always drawn to them. Us fangirls have strange interests. ;)Christine Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15859881278385314279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-5881008209673283372014-12-08T22:03:59.216-06:002014-12-08T22:03:59.216-06:00Oo!
