I think it's fascinating how every single writer creates books in different ways.

Yes, I need all these retellings! I just know they're gonna be AWESOME. And, judging by how many ideas I have set in the Burning Thorns world when it was SUPPOSED to be a standalone, I definitely agree with your statement! XD Fairytales multiply like rabbits! *shakes head*Christine Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15859881278385314279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-38606344781540694812016-08-13T12:38:25.424-05:002016-08-13T12:38:25.424-05:00Such a fun interview, you two! And the plans you have for future fairy tale retellings sound epic, Kiri! Once you write one, it's impossible to keep your brain from coming up with more. XD And high five to another Rooglewoos contest entrant! Embrace the nerdy-...BECAUSE FAIRYTALES ARE AMAZING. Embrace the nerdy-ness! I agree, there's soooo much that can be done with them. I have about a gadrillion fairytale retelling ideas going through my head constantly, and am of course working on my own Beauty and the Beast story currently. I just can't get enough of fairytales!

That is most certainly not conceited! It was just a reminder to yourself of how much you love writing. I often go through my own blog and stories myself to get re-inspired. Sometimes we have to revisit our loves to remember WHY we write them. *nods* Also, I'm very happy you're re-inspired. Because we need more Kiri stories!

Thank YOU for letting me have you on my blog. It was my honor. And a ton of fun at that! But professional? *giggles* Girl, I'm anything BUT professional. I'm glad you liked it though. ^_^Christine Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15859881278385314279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-52198818847624771352016-08-02T19:26:57.109-05:002016-08-02T19:26:57.109-05:00I enjoy hearing about others' writing processe...I enjoy hearing about others' writing processes too! It's just fascinating how we ALL have different systems. I love it! And yeah, both pantsing and plotting have their pros and cons. I used to be SUCH a pantser but I may slowly be morphing into a plotter. :O Never thought the day would come!

Weren't the characters so fun?? And yes, I LOVE how Kiri incorporates family in her stories. We need more of that!

So happy you liked it! ^_^ Christine Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15859881278385314279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-34134537204101263322016-08-02T17:18:52.040-05:002016-08-02T17:18:52.040-05:00Oh my sufferin' cats! I sound like an absolute...Oh my sufferin' cats! I sound like an absolute fairy tale nerd!! Which... I guess I really am. I can't help loving them, truly. THERE'S JUST SO MUCH THERE!! So much to explore. I just... I can't let them be. Nope. Sorry, not sorry.

Okay, I *know* this interview is all about me, but I think I just got re-inspired to work on all the fairy tale stuffs again. Isn't that really conceited of me? I inspired myself. :P Yeah, anywhoz... I'm just reminded of how much I really love all this stuff. Fairy tales just are amazing. End of story.

Well, thank you so much for this interview, m'dear!! I thoroughly enjoyed it, and you set it up and made me look so professional (which, I'm totally NOT)! *winks* Love you, Christine!!Kirsten Fichterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01887462858049277918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-19390946582843250332016-08-02T16:52:29.495-05:002016-08-02T16:52:29.495-05:00LOVED THIS INTERVIEW! So much fun for a look "...LOVED THIS INTERVIEW! So much fun for a look "behind the scenes". :D It's making me want to write! I always like hearing about people's writing processes... pantsers intrigue me because sometimes I'm one and it's very interesting, but more often I'm a plotter, and I can't decide which I like better! As for a message, I think I pulled a strong family theme from it, which made me so happy. ^_^ And I just love all the characters. <3 I thought Lord Roux was marvelously done, so success there! I love that the twins were unexpected and stole the show -- sounds SO much like them! XD I'm looking forward to more fairytale retellings! FUN! :D

Anyhow, loved this and thanks for sharing, Lauri and Kiri! ^_^Deborah O'Carrollhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05969896655321575875noreply@blogger.com
