Lately I've become quite a fan of dragons, too (How to Train Your Dragon started it, not going to lie) so YES. The dragons were just the best. (And when Jace had to face his fears and ride Gem, the dragon he saved.....aghh. SO PRECIOUS.)

Me neither!Nataliehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00315660089925645214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-73678719627961044952017-02-21T19:39:55.478-06:002017-02-21T19:39:55.478-06:00YESSS. Awww, thank y...YESSS. I had SO much fun with it!!!

Awww, thank you! I had a lot of fun with the pics. I feel like one of those grandmas that pulls out a wallet full of pictures of her grandkids. Got to show you guys all meh babies. XD

YES! You've read those books? AAAAHHHH, TRACEY! I LOVE those stories. What's so sad is I haven't read the third one yet either, even though it's right there! I want to reread the first two again because it's been so long, but I always end up favoring reading new things instead of rereading, so it keeps getting pushed back.

Tale of Goldstone Wood, absolutely! :D

I do love me all my fantasy trinkets. Fairies was actually my first love before I really discovered how awesome dragons and things were. I loved fantasy things before I even KNEW what fantasy was exactly.

Huzzah for Bryan Davis fans! So much fun. ^_^ I NEED the last two Children of the Bard books like I need air. I can't believe I haven't gotten them yet. Shameful. And I've been meaning to get I Know Why the Angels Dance for yeeeears and STILL haven't! Gah. So terrible. Oh, oh! You must have the newer covers of the Echoes from the Edge series. They're gorgeous. I almost want to get them just to have...even though I already own the books. Lol. But I also looove the first covers as well. Both are so pretty!

I was honestly shocked I didn't like Aquifer. I saw so many good reviews for it, some from people I pretty much never disagree with on books. I was just sure I'd love it. But...there honestly wasn't a single thing in the whole book I liked. The writing style confused me, the characters felt flat, the world undeveloped, the plot a little too easy for the characters. I don't know. It makes me sad. BUT, like I said, there are tons of good reviews for it, so I don't think it's a bad book, it's just *I* didn't click with it, ya know? There are some books a person can't seem to click with, even if it's good. It might have been my interpretation of the whole thing. So I definitely think Josiah should give it a shot, because he might like it a lot!

*le gasp* TRACEY. You must read those books! Well, okay, I'm probably biased since they did basically raise me. But they are such fun, sweet little books.

Gorgibeautimous! XDDD Yep, that's a keeper!
I found that book on sale for a super good price one day and almost died of sheer joy. Because it's PINK and WONDERLAND which are like...my things. I'm very much known for my love of pink and all things Wonderland. So yes, I snatched it up so fast. And I agree, big pretty classics make such a nice addition to a book collection.

I'm so obsessed, it's ridiculous. XD

Hahaha! You're the best. THANK YOU!!! Sooo glad you enjoyed reading it. ^_^Christine Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15859881278385314279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-51874033026706580402015-09-24T14:20:28.387-05:002015-09-24T14:20:28.387-05:00Yaaay! I actually sometimes do it by height, too! *highfives* Really, I think I use ALL forms of organization and mix it all together--a little by color, a little by author or genre, a little by height...I don't even know. My brain...

Exactly! I never know WHAT everyone wants, so Christmas lists are fantastic things to have.

Isn't it lovely?? I must find the first volume to match it!

I'm a wee bit obsessed, if you can't tell. XD

More Bryan Davis fans! HUZZAH. :D Love his books so much. Yeah, it's a pink copy of Alice in Wonderland and I loveth it so much.

Thank you! But trust me, it is VERY rare I put this much effort into a blog post. I'm more of a snag a pretty picture off pinterest and slap it on my blog sorta person. I'm usually far too lazy to take my own. XD But I just wanted to with this one.

You're so welcome! Thank ...I was so happy to DO it. Suuuch a fun tag!

Thank you! I'm kind of obsessed with fairies, since I was tiny. Love me some fairies!
The Hobbit is LIFE. Hehehe. Yes, the obsession goes deep...
Speaking of obsessions... BRYAN DAVIS. I used to go out and snag every new book he produced. XD I've gotten a little lax here of late, but he still writes some of my favoritest books of ever.
Is it? I'm glad to hear it! I've pretty much only ever heard good things about Percy Jackson so I thought I may as well collect the series since I'm always finding the books for real cheap. One day I'll actually READ them. XD
It IS! It's seriously one of the prettiest covers I've ever seen. You must get yourself a copy!
*grins* Thank you! The geek runs strong in this one.

I should probably do that more often. I get a little obsessed when it comes to collecting books...as if I'm not broke enough. *cough, cough*
Oh! I've been meaning to read Melanie Dickerson books for the LONGEST and still haven't. I must do that!
Goldstone Wood book! Yaaaay!!! I've yet to get there in the series, but I will! Love that series so much.Christine Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15859881278385314279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-23061789237119022512015-09-24T14:04:23.244-05:002015-09-24T14:04:23.244-05:00You are so welcome! I cannot wait to see your post...You are so welcome! I cannot wait to see your post! :D

Awww, thanks! I've never delved too deeply into photography and hardly know what I'm doing, but it's fun nonetheless. XD
BRYAN DAVIS, YESH. He writes the most intriguing, different plots.
That is a few Nancy Drew books, indeed. Sadly, I started reading them a little later in life and couldn't quite get into them, so I've only read those six there. I think if I had read them when I was younger I would have loved them. I guess I missed the boat...whoops.

Strangely, I never have counted them. I keep adding more and can't keep up. Lol. Although recently I added everything I own in an "own-it" GoodReads shelf and there's 267 books there. Though a few aren't books on my personal shelves. So I probably have around...260? 250? Somewhere around there. I really must count them.Christine Smithhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15859881278385314279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-76894699741936467712015-09-23T14:59:36.749-05:002015-09-23T14:59:36.749-05:00*le gasp* YOU DID THE BOOKSHELF TAAAAAAAG!!! :D I ...*le gasp* YOU DID THE BOOKSHELF TAAAAAAAG!!! :D I was so excited to see it show up on my dashboard, so even though I didn't have time to actually read it right then, I did peek in and scroll through your pictures. And now I'm here to actually comment. :P

Firstly, LOVE all the gorgeous pictures of books and the glimpses of your room! So much pretty... I think my method of organization is a mix of your "what looks prettiest" and also "what do I love most." XD Because my favorites are all in the same spots.

Do I see Dragon Slippers there (and the next two books)? :) I need to read the last one yet...

Dragonwitch! Tales of Goldstone Wood! I see you have more of the series than I do. ;D

*drools over fairies, rings, swords, and mini Smaug*

Ooooh, you have a lovely Bryan Davis collection too. ^_^ And it's nearly identical to mine--but I own The Seventh Door and I Know Why the Angels Dance; don't own Tales of Starlight or Reapers (yet!!!); and my Echoes from the Edge series have different covers. But other than that, very much the same!

Aquifer wasn't good? :/ My brother has it sitting on his library stack... We'll see if he likes it.

I have never heard of the Betsy-Tacy books, believe it or not. They look sweet!

Okay. That Alice in Wonderland volume is GORGIBEAUTIMOUS. (Hush, that's a word.) GIMME. XD I love the look of great big classics with beautiful covers. It makes one's bookshelf look that much more elegant and sophisticated.

And all the Hobbity, Lord of the Ringsy stuff too... *sighs dreamily* One day I'll get my hands on LotR for myself.

Anyway, I loved loved loved this post! It was so much fun seeing your wonderfully large collection of wonderfully wonderful books. (Methinks that Alice in Wonderland picture did something to my vocabulary...) I'M SO HAPPY YOU DID IT. ^_______^ Thank you for sharing!Tracey Dyckhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03445222618456673198noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-4285686885080195882015-09-23T11:39:16.531-05:002015-09-23T11:39:16.531-05:00Lots of good reads here! You have THREE copies of the Hobbit?! Something tells me you seriously like that book :). And my word, do you have a lot of Bryan Davis books! I've read quite a lot of his stuff and I agree, he's an amazing author! Oh, I've read the Percy Jackson series, it was really good! The cover on the Five Enchanted Roses book is GORGEOUS, now I need that book even more :). And have I ever mentioned how much I like your Legolas swords and ring :)? They're awesome!
The most prized book in my collection ... well, I don't tend to buy that many books, I borrow them for the library most of the time. But the most prized book that I do own is probably Eragon by Christopher Paolini ( I love that book!). The last book I read was The Fairest Beauty by Melaine Dickerson. I'm don't normally read romance books, but it was quite good :). Right now I'm reading Golden Daughter by Anne Elisabeth Stengl, and I'm loving it so far!
~Savannah P. Magnifique! I LOVE Bryan Davis' books. And did I see some Nancy Drew on a shelf there, as well?? Hahaha! Have you ever counted your collection to see just how many you own in your personal library? I had to do that simply out of curiousity. :]

Thanks again, dearie!! <3Sarah Cnossenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04095719269691352787noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4139091376044743904.post-90791181942167690762015-09-21T21:10:20.148-05:002015-09-21T21:10:20.148-05:00Oh, I'm so glad I'm not alone! XD But yes, I know where they all are, so I guess that's all that matters.

I was SO excited when I found that thing!
